Things I've built
A few of the projects that have stuck with me, from a rebranded nail polish campaign to a sandwich shop business plan to a playable browser game.
Sally Hansen, Reimagined
Simone and I rebranded a marketing campaign for Sally Hansen's Insta-Dri nail polish line. Sally Hansen's current advertising leans on younger audiences and outside influencers, so we shifted the target audience to busy mothers, mostly single parents, ages 20 to 40, who want a fast, low-cost way to get their nails done.
Our slogan, "Just Give it a Minute," plays on the polish's 60-second dry time and doubles as a small reminder to take a moment for yourself. We built out the campaign's objectives, audience research, and a full set of product photography, then planned a rollout focused on Instagram and TikTok for maximum reach.

For this project, my group designed an entire sandwich shop from the ground up. We picked a real location, Bromptons at Lyon Park on N Pershing Drive, designed a logo and brand inspired by Cinque Terre, and built a virtual walkthrough of the shop's layout, kitchen, counter space, and seating, all done in a Mediterranean-inspired style: cozy, calming, beachy colors with exposed brick and small pops of bright color.
Beyond the design, we built a full menu with at least ten original sandwiches, each with a base, spread, filling, and cooking style, plus drinks, sides, and desserts. We also did real economic research: comparing bulk ingredient pricing across two grocery distributors, estimating monthly rent for a space in Arlington, and pricing out kitchen equipment like meat slicers, ovens, and a walk-in fridge to figure out our actual startup costs.

A browser-based football game built from scratch with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript using the canvas element. The concept: move the ball down the field, score touchdowns and field goals, and keep the defense from doing the same to you before the timer runs out.
Press space or click to kick. I built the field, the scoring logic, and the defensive movement, and worked through real game design challenges like pacing the defense's speed, adding a proper menu and game-over screen instead of browser alerts, and getting the kick mechanic to feel right. It's a small project, but it's the one that's taught me the most about iterating on something until it actually feels like a game.
